wnominate_un_text_tabs.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE on a tab-delimited roll call matrix, writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk, and makes a plot of the ideal points of the legislators. wnominate_un_stata_file.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE on a Stata roll call matrix, writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk, and makes a plot of the ideal points of the legislators. wnominate_un_csv.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE on a comma-delimited roll call matrix, writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk, and makes a plot of the ideal points of the legislators. wnominate_in_R_2010.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE on the 88th Senate -- SEN88KH.ORD, and writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk. Program uses Simon Jackman's pscl package function READKH(..) to read the roll call file.

wnominate_house_111_X_plot.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE, writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk, and makes a plot of the ideal points of the legislators. wnominate_senate_111_X_plot.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE, writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk, and makes a plot of the ideal points of the legislators. wnominate_senate_111_bootstrap.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE and performs a parametric bootstrap analysis (501 trials) to obtain the standard deviations for the legislator coordinates. The program writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk, and makes a plot of the ideal points of the legislators showing the 2 standard deviation confidence ellipses around the ideal points (if the correlation between the trials for the first and second dimension is greater than 0.15 in absolute value, an ellipse is drawn -- otherwise a cross-hair is drawn). wnominate_house_111_coombs_mesh.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE, writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk, outputs the summary plot of the results (see vignette PDF above), and makes a plot of the Coombs Mesh and a histogram of the cutting line angles. Program uses HOU111KH.ORD.

wnominate_senate_111_coombs_mesh.r -- R program that runs WNOMINATE, writes the legislator and roll call coordinates to disk, outputs the summary plot of the results (see vignette PDF above), and makes a plot of the Coombs Mesh and a histogram of the cutting line angles. Program uses SENKH111.ORD.
