Representative from California; born in San Diego, San Diego County, Calif., December 7, 1976; graduated from Granite Hills High School, El Cajon, Calif., 1994; B.S., San Diego State University, San Diego, Calif., 2001; United States Marine Corps, 2002-2005; United States Marine Corps Reserve, 2005-2008; real estate developer; businessman; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Eleventh and to the five succeeding Congresses until his resignation on January 13, 2020 (January 3, 2009-January 13, 2020); convicted on March 17, 2020, of conspiracy; full pardon granted by President Donald J.
