Representative from Missouri; born in Springfield, Greene County, Mo., August 11, 1955; attended University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo., 1973-1976; graduated from the Missouri Auction School, 1979; Certified Auctioneers Institute, Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind., 1983; owner auctioneer business, 1979-2011; radio personality; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth and to the five succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2011-January 3, 2023); was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Eighteenth Congress in 2022, but was an unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the United States Senate.Courtesy of Biographical Directory of the United States Congress
