Representative from Massachusetts; born in Brighton, Suffolk County, Mass., October 4, 1980; B.S., Stanford University, Stanford, Calif., 2003; J.D., Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., 2009; United States Peace Corps, 2004-2006; research analyst; Middlesex, Mass. county assistant district attorney, 2011-2012; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Thirteenth Congress and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2013-January 3, 2021); was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Seventeenth Congress in 2020, but was an unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the United States Senate; United States Special Envoy for Northern Ireland, 2022-present.
