Representative from South Dakota; born in Pierre, Hughes County, S.Dak., September 30, 1976; graduated from T.F. Riggs High School, Pierre, S.Dak., 1995; B.A., University of South Dakota, Vermillion, S.Dak., 1999; M.P.A., University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kans., 2002; staff, Governor Mike Rounds of South Dakota, 2003-2005; member of the South Dakota public utilities commission, 2004-2011; staff, Governor Dennis Daugaard of South Dakota, 2011-2014; business executive and co-owner of telecommunications engineering firm; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Sixteenth and to the two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2019-present).
