Biography
Representative from New York; born in Manhattan, New York County, N.Y., April 1, 1976; graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School, Sayreville, N.J; attended Potomac State Junior College, West Virginia University, Keyser, W. Va.; B.A., University of New Haven, West Haven, Conn., 1999; M.A., Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., 2006; Ed.D., Manhattanville College, Harrison, N.Y., 2019; teacher; principal; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Seventeenth and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2021–present); censured by the U.S. House of Representatives on December 7, 2023, for having "forced the evacuation of the Cannon House Office Building and disrupted the work of the Congress as a vote was underway on the floor of the House."
