A Senator from Indiana; born in Jasper, Ind., March 24, 1954; graduated Jasper High School, 1972; B.A., economics, Wabash College, 1976; M.B.A., Harvard Business School, 1978; company founder and chief executive officer; member of the Indiana house of representatives 2014-2017; elected as a Republican to the United States Senate in 2018, and served from January 3, 2019, to January 3, 2025; was not a candidate for reelection to the Senate in 2024; elected governor of Indiana in 2024, and took the oath of office on January 13, 2025.Courtesy of Biographical Directory of the United States Congress
