Description: TO AGREE TO SENATE AMENDMENT TO H.R. 635 (3-3-47), MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE POST OFFICE FOR FISCAL 1848, WHICH AMENDMENT ELIMINATES A PROVISION THAT ALL ADVERTISEMENTS MADE UNDER THE ORDER OF THE POSTMASTER GENERAL OF LETTERS UNCALLED FOR IN NEWSPAPERS SHALL BE DESIGNATED BY THE POSTMASTER IN THE TOWN WHERE THE OFFICE IS SITUATED, PROVEDED THE EDITOR AGREES TO INSERT SAID MATERIAL FOR A PRICE NO GREATER THAN THAT NOW FIXED BY LAW.
