Description: TO RECEDE AND CONCUR IN THE SENATE AMENDMENT TO H.R. 24815, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 6/30/1908, WHICH AMENDMENT PROVIDES AS AN APPROPRIATION FOR EACH STATE AND TERRITORY FOR THE COMPLETE ENDOWMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF AGRICULTURAL COLLEGES NOW AND HEREAFTER TO BE ESTABLISHED THE SUM OF $5000, AND AN ANNUAL INCREASE HEREAFTER FOR 4 YRS. BY AN ADDITIONAL SUM OF $5000 OVER THE PREVIOUS YEAR, AND THE ANNUAL SUM TO BE PAID THEREAFTER BY EACH STATE AND TERRITORY SHALL BE $50,000. (P. 4490-1)
