THE SENATE BILL AUTHORIZED AN EXTENSION OF FOOD STAMP ACT FOR 3 YEARS, THE HOUSE AMENDED THIS TO 1 YEAR. THE SENATE THEN FURTHER AMENDED THE EXTENSION TO 2 YEARS. THE VOTE IS TO ACCEPT THE COMPROMISE.
