Description: TO RECOMMIT H.R. 6736, THE PUBLIC BROADCASTING ACT OF 1967, WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO APPROPRIATE $5 MILLION TO SECRETARY OF HEW, TO BE DIVIDED EQUALLY AMONG EXISTING EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING INSTITUTIONS, AND TO ELIMINATE TITLE II OF THE BILL, WHICH CREATES A CORPORATION OF PUBLIC BROADCASTING, AND AUTHORIZES IT TO SPEND $9 MILLION IN FISCAL 1968 TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF TELEVISION PROGRAMS.
