Bill summary: (Measure passed Senate, amended) Extends through fiscal year 1979 the authorization of appropriations for carrying out title V (Rural Development and Small Farm Research and Education) of the Rural Development Act of 1972, as follows: $5,000,000 for the period July 1, 1976 through September 30, 1976; and $20,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1977-1979. Exempts custom combine, hay harvesting, or sheep shearing operations from the Farm Labor Contractor Registration Act of 1963.
