Bill summary: (Measure passed House, amended, roll call #223 (290-102)) Amends title X (Population Research and Voluntary Family Planning Programs) of the Public Health Service Act to authorize FY 1985 through 1987 appropriations for: (1) family planning services; (2) personnel training; and (3) informational and educational materials. Amends title XX (Adolescent Family Life Demonstration Projects) of such Act to authorize FY 1985 through 1987 appropriations for adolescent family life demonstration and research activities. Amends title XIX (Block Grants) of such Act to authorize FY 1985 through 1987 appropriations for preventive health services block grants. Increases minimum population-based State allotments from $3,000,000 to $3,500,000. Establishes the post-FY 1984 set-aside for hypertension services at 65 percent of previous funding levels. Requires States to collect by October 1, 1984, specified preventive health services data.
