Description: TO PASS HR 618, DISPLACED SALVADORANS AND NICARAGUANS, A BILL TO SUSPEND DEPORTATION FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM EL SALVADOR AND NICARAGUA FOR A PERIOD OF APPROXIMATELY TWO YEARS UNTIL SUCH TIME AS CONDITIONS ALLOW THEM TO RETURN TO THEIR NATIVE COUNTRY. WHILE IN THE UNITED STATES, THEY WOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR MOST FORMS OF FEDERAL ASSISTANCE.
