APR. 18, 1806, 2 STAT 379) TO PROHIBIT THE IMPORTATION OF CERTAIN GOODS, WARES AND MERCHANDISE, IN ORDER TO BRING ABOUT A MORE FAVORABLE COURSE OF CONDUCT ON THE PART OF GREAT BRITAIN WITH RESPECT TO THE DISTURBANCE OF TRADE TO INSURE THAT GREAT BRITAIN WILL BE DISPOSED TO A MORE REASONABLE SETTLEMENT OF DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO NATIONS, MOTION REJECTED.
