Description: TO AMEND S. 82, BY ELIMINATING THE THIRD SECTION, AS AMENDED, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT, "WHERE SUIT OR PROSECUTION IS COMMENCED AGAINST ANY OFFICER OF THE U.S, OR OTHER PERSON FOR ANY ACT DONE UNDER THE REVENUE LAWS, SAID DEFENDANT, BEFORE TRIAL, BY PETITION AND AFFIDAVIT TO THE COURT, MAY REMOVE SUCH SUIT TO THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE U.S. AND ALL PROCEEDINGS THEREON UP TO THAT TIME ARE STAYED AND PROVIDING FURTHER THAT IN CASE NO RECORDS ARE HANDED UP, THE CIRCUIT COURT SHALL TRY THE CASE "DE NOVO."
