Description: TO PASS H.R. 3551 (20-STAT-26), A BILL PROVIDING THAT IN CASE OF A VACANCY OR DUE TO FAILURE IN EXECUTING DUTIES AS A PENSION AGENT, THE PRESIDENT MAY DESIGNATE ANY OFFICER OF THE U.S. TO FILL THE VACANCY FOR A PERIOD OF NOT MORE THAN 20 DAYS, AND IF REQUIRED SHALL GIVE BONDS FOR FAITHFUL DISCHARGE OF DUTIES.
