Description: TO RECEDE FROM A SENATE AMENDMENT TO H.R. 8148, MADE IN COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE, AND PROVIDING THAT NO PART OF THE MONEY APPROPRIATED IN THIS ACT FOR ENFORCEMENT OF THE ACT OF AUG. 24, 1894, IMPOSING A TAX ON INCOME, SHALL BE USED TO COMPEL ANY INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYER IN HIS ANNUAL RETURN TO ANSWER ANY QUESTION EXCEPT ANSWERS SHOWING THE SORCES AND AMOUNTS OF GAINS, PROFITS AND INCOMES, AND THE NATURE OF DEDUCTIONS CLAIMES.
