Rept. 94-941) Makes supplemental appropriations through fiscal year 1979 as follows: (1) $50,000,000 through September 30, 1976 to the Federal Railroad Administration for Northeast Corridor improvements; (2) $36,500,000 through September 39, 1976, for grants to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation, including specified amounts for operating expenses and assumption of control and maintenance of the Northeast Corridor; (3) $25,000,000 to the Urban Mass (...show more) Transportation Administration for the Urban Mass Transportation Fund, to remain available until expended; and (4) to the United States Railway Association for the acquisition of debentures and series A preferred stock of ConRail, $850,000,000 through September 30, 1976, ($308,000,000 to be available for operating losses of ConRail), for such acquisition, $615,000,000, to become available on September 30, 1976 ($200,000,000 to be available for operating losses of ConRail), for such acquisition, $425,000,000, for fiscal year 1978 (none to be available for operating losses of ConRail), for such acquisition, $136,000,000 for fiscal year 1979 (none to be available for operating losses of ConRail), and $5,800,000 for additional administrative expenses for fisacl year 1976. Exempts members of the Commission on the Operation of the Senate from provisions of Federal law relating to annuities and pay on re-employment.
