THE THURMOND AMENDMENT ADDS A NEW ARTICLE IX THAT AUTHORIZES THE AMERICAN BATTLE MONUMENTS COMMISSION TO ARRANGE FOR THE TRANSFER OF THE REMAINS OF THE U.S. CITIZENS FROM MOUNT HOPE CEMETERY TO THE AMERICAN SECTOR OF THE COROZAL CEMETERY.
