Description: TO AMEND S. 2332, A BILL EXTENDING UNTIL AUGUST 1, 1983, THE (CONTINUED) EXPIRATION DATE OF SECTION 252 OF THE ENERGY POLICY AND CONSERVATION ACT, WHICH PROVIDES A LIMITED ANTITRUST DEFENSE FOR U.S. OIL COMPANIES PARTICIPATING IN THE INTERNATIONAL ENERGY PROGRAM. THE DOMENICI AMENDMENT REQUIRES AN AVERAGE ANNUAL FILE RATE OF 208,000 BARRELS PER DAY FOR THE STRATEGIC PETROLEUM RESERVE, AS OPPOSED TO 300,000 BARRELS PER DAY IN THE BILL. (MOTION FAILED)
