Description: TO PASS S. 445 (28 STAT. 650, 2/11/1895), SUPPLEMENTARY TO AN ACT ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE A GOVERNMENT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA," APPROVED FEBRUARY 21, 1871, AND ALSO AN ACT ENTITLED "AN ACT FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA" AND APPROVED 6/20/1874, WHICH PROVIDES THAT AFTER THE PASSAGE OF THIS ACT ALL PARTS OF THE DIST. OF COLUMBIA EMBRACED WITHIN THE BOUNDS AND NOW CONSTITUTING THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, SHALL BE KNOWN AS AND CONSTITUTED A PART OF THE CITY OF WASHINGTON, THE FEDERAL CAPITAL; AND ALL LAWS, REGULATIONS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WASHINGTON ARE MADE APPLICABLE TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN; AND ALL OF THE REGULATIONS, ORDINANCES AND LAWS OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, AS A SEPARATE, INDEPENDENT CITY ARE HEREBY ABOLISHED.
