Description: TO ADOPT THE CONFERENCE REPORT ON THE SENATE AMENDMENT TO H.R. 24640 (34 STAT 1406, APP 3/4/1907), MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE PAYMENT OF INVALID AND OTHER PENSIONS OF THE UNITED STATES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 6/30/1908, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES, WHICH AMENDMENT DIRECTS THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR TO INQUIRE INTO THE EFFECT OF A REDUCTION OF THE PRESENT PENSION AGENCIES TO ONE SUCH AGENCY; THIS PROVISION NOT TO INTERFERE WITH THE RIGHT OR POWER OF THE PRES.
