R. 18542 (39 STAT. 1070, MARCH 3, 1917), A BILL MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE LEGISLATIVE, EXECUTIVE, AND JUDICIAL EXPENSES OF THE GOVERNMENT FOR FISCAL 1918 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES, WHICH AMENDMENT PROVIDES THAT DURING FISCAL 1918 INCREASED COMPEN-SATION OF 15% PER ANNUM TO EMPLOYEE RECEIVING SALARY OF $480, PER ANNUM OR LESS AND OF 10% PER ANNUM TO EMPLOYEES RECEIVING MORE THAN $480 PER ANNUM AND NOT EXCEEDING $1000, PER ANNUM.
