Bill summary: (LATEST SUMMARY) Authorizes renovation projects without restrictions under the National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities of 1965 and provides that such projects shall not exceed $250,000. Requires that construction projects be for demonstration purposes, or under unusual circumstances. Provides that each State may be alloted $200,000 each fiscal year from the National Endowment for the Arts, and that loans from the Endowment shall be made in accordance with terms made by the Secretary (...show more) of the Treasury. Provides that advisory panels appointed to approve applications for funding shall have broad geographic representations. Authorizes appropriations and such additional sums as may be necessary for programs of the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Provides that funds shall remain available until expended.
