Description: TO PASS H.R. 10451, TO AMEND TITLE 37, UNITED STATES CODE, RELATING TO SPECIAL PAY FOR NUCLEAR QUALIFIED OFFICERS.
Bill summary: Nuclear Career Incentive Act - Authorizes an increase in the amount of special pay which may be given to nuclear-qualified submarine officers who extend their period of active service. Offers a $3,000 bonus to commissioned officers, as specified, who successfully complete training for duty in connection with the supervision, operation, and maintenance of naval propulsion plants.
