Description: A SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT TO A PRIOR AMENDMENT TO H R 2100 WHICH INCREASES PRICE SUPPORTS FOR WHEAT FARMERS TO $4.50 PER BUSHEL FOR THE FIRST 15,000 BUSHELS AND TO $4.00 A BUSHEL FOR MORE THAN 15,000 BUSHELS. THE AMENDMENT ALSO WOULD ALLOW FARMERS TO REPAY LOANS AT A RATE EQUAL TO THE MARKET PRICE OF THEIR CROPS. (MOTION FAILED)
