Description: TO ADOPT HR 558, URGENT RELIEF FOR THE HOMELESS, A BILL TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS IN FISCAL 1987 AND 1988 TO PROVIDE FOOD, SHELTER, MEDICAL AND OTHER ASSISTANCE TO THE HOMELESS TO INSURE THEIR SAFETY. ALSO, THE BILL WOULD SET UP A COUNCIL TO SUPERVISE THE FEDERAL HOMELESS-AID PROGRAMS.
