Description: TO AGREE TO AMENDMENT TO S. 427, A BILL MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE ARMY FOR 1857, WHICH AMENDMENT WOULD ELIMINATE THE PROVISION OF THE ACT EXTENDING TO WIDOWS AND ORPHANS OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMY THE SAME PENSIONS ALLOWED TO WIDOWS AND ORPHANS OF PERSONS DYING IN THE NAVAL SERVICE.
