Description: TO CONCUR IN THE AMENDMENT TO H.R. 566, WHICH AMENDMENT PROVIDES THAT ON AND AFTER JULY 1, 1857, THE DUTY ON ARTICLES CONTAINED IN SCHEDULES A AND B BE REDUCED TO 30% AD VALOREM AND THE DUTY ON ARTICLES CONTAINED IN SCHEDULES C,D,E,F,G,AND H BE REDUCED BY ONE-FIFTH FROM THE PRESENT DUTIES, EXCEPT AS SPECIFIED IN THIS ACT.
