Description: TO AGREE TO A RESERVATION TO THE VERSAILLES TREATY, PROVIDING THAT THE BRITISH PROTECTORATE IN EGYPT IS A MEANS THROUGH WHICH TURKISH SUZERAINTY SHALL BE TRANSFERRED TO EGYPTIAN PEOPLE AND NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A RECOGNITION BY THE UNITED STATES OF BRITISH SOVEREIGNTY OR DEPRIVATION OF EGYPTIAN SELF-GOVERNMENT AND INDEPENDENCE.
