Description: TO AGREE TO THE COMMITTEE AMENDMENT TO H.R. 8410, A BILL EXTENDING THROUGH NOV. 30, 1973, THE PRESENT TEMPORARY CEILING OF $465 BILLION ON THE PUBLIC DEBT. THE COMMITTEE AMENDMENT PROVIDES A 5% COST OF LIVING INCREASE IN SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS TO BECOME EFFECTIVE JAN. 1974.
