Description: TO AMEND THE HOUSE BILL IN ADDITION TO AN ACT ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR CALLING FORTH THE MILITIA TO EXECUTE THE LAWS OF THE UNION, SUPPRESS INSURRECTIONS AND REPEL INVASIONS", AND TO REPEAL THE ACT NOW IN FORCE FOR THOSE PURPOSES; SAID AMENDMENT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNMENT TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES PREPARATORY TO AND DURING THE ASSEMBLAGE OF MILITIA CALLED OUT BY THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT, NOT NOW PROVIDED FOR BY LAW, IN THE SAME MANNER AS IS PROVIDED FOR DEFRAYING THOSE EXPENSES ACCRUING AFTER THEIR ASSEMBLAGE AT THE PLACE OF RENDEZVOUS.
