R. 900, (15 STAT 58, MAR. 31, 1868) A BILL EXEMPTING CERTAIN MANUFACTURES FROM INTERNAL TAX, WHICH AMENDMENT PROVIDES THAT THE PRODUCTS OF PETROLEUM, EXCEPT ILLUMINATING GAS, SHALL BE TAXED AFTER THE PASSAGE OF THIS ACT AT ONE HALF THE RATES CALLED FOR.
