Description: TO AMEND H.R. 616, (APP. 3/3/1835), FOR THE CIVIL AND DIPLOMATIC EXPENSES OF THE GOVERNMENT FOR THE YEAR 1835, BY PROVIDING THAT THE SALARY AND OUTFIT SHALL NOT BE PAID, UNLESS SAID MINISTER SHALL BE APPOINTED AT THE PRESENT SESSION OF CONGRESS, OR IN THE RECESS, BY AND WITH THE ADVICE AND CONSENT OF THE SENATE FIRST HAD AND OBTAINED AND TO RETAIN THE SALARY OF MINISTERS TO GREAT BRITAIN AT $3,600.
