Description: TO AMEND THE AMENDMENT TO H. R. 480, SO AS TO SUSPEND THE PROVISIONS OF THE SECOND AND THIRD SECTIONS OF THE DISTRIBUTION ACT, AND THE PROVISO IN THE SIXTH SECTION, FOR A LIMITED TIME. THESE SUSPENSIONS ARE BEING ASKED FOR IN ORDER TO POSTPONE PAYMENT OF INSTALLMENT DUE THEREUNDER AND IN LIEU OF SUSPENDING THE DISTRIBUTION OF PROCEEDS OF THE PUBLIC LANDS, AUTHORIZED BY ACT OF CONGRESS, 9/4/1841.
