Description: TO PASS S. 2482, TO AMEND IN SEVERAL RESPECTS THE SMALL BUSINESS ACT.

Bill summary: Increases the appropriations amounts authorized under the Small Business Act. Expands the authority of the Small Business Administration to make loans to assist small business concerns in meeting regulatory standards. Provides for livestock loans and loans for adjustment assistance in base closings under the Small Business Act. States that the Administrator shall not discriminate on the basis of sex or marital status against any person or small business concern applying for or receiving assistance from the Administration. Directs the Small Business Administration to give special consideration to veterans and their survivors or dependents.
