a Navy cross,
an Air Force cross,
a silver star,
a Purple Heart,
a Combat Infantryman's Badge,
a Combat Action Badge,
a Combat Medical Badge,

a Combat Action Medal, or
any replacement or duplicate medal for such medal as authorized by law.
