Description: ON ADOPTION, OF THE RESOLUTION AS AMENDED, CONSENTING TO THE RATIFICATION OF A TREATY OF FRIENDSHIP, COMMERCE, AND NAVIGATION, BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF IRAN (PERSIA), AND THE UNITED STATES, CONCLUDED AT CONSTANTINOPLE OCT.9,1851 WITH AMENDMENT PROVIDING THAT CITIZENS OF PERSIA AND THE UNITED STATES SHALL ENJOY IN THE COUNTRY OF THE OTHER ALL RIGHTS, PRIVILEGES, AND IMMUNITIES ENJOYED BY THE CITIZENS OF THAT COUNTRY.
